THE APPEARANCE Standing at 6'3 Charlus is well built and rather muscular. He has black hair that is slightly curly as he has allowed it to grow out, down to his shoulders so it isn't the usual Potter mess which he hates. His eyes are also a blue colour which is also a familiar Potter trait. His dress sense is usually better than most of his family and that stems from his associations with the Pureblood's in Slytherin's and his acceptance of their culture and ways. PB: Alex O'Loughlin
THE PERSONALITY Flirt. That is the first word you think of when you think of Charlus Potter. While at Hogwarts, Charlus was determined to advance hismelf as much as possible. This meant entrenching himself in the correct circles. He used his way of women to get favours and friendship out of them, to advance him more than he already was. This also stems from his manipulative ways. Charlus is determined to get everything that he wants and to prove that he is better than mudblood's and all that. Of course he still has sense to bow down to the Lestrange and Black families of course. Charlus was never overly clever but he was smart enough to pass his classes with decent marks. He doesn't want to fail and he wants to succeed which is mostly the main reason he got the marks that he did. If he hadn't been as ambitious as he is he probably would have failed the classes that he took over the years. The only person he thinks of is himself and he never gives anyone another thought... well perhaps his parents because they did raise him despite their different views on things, he does love them like any child would do. THE HISTORY Born on February 23rd 1917, Charlus Potter was the oldest of two sons born to Amanda and Jake Potter. As a young child he often had what he wanted but he often disagreed with his parents on a lot of things. They taught he equality of all people but from a few children of other Pureblood families he couldn't help but take on their way of thought- if they had magic and muggles didn't, didn't that make them better than them? He never voiced his opinions openly as he knew his parents wouldn't like it. When he was 11 he received a letter to Hogwarts much to his parents deleight- and his even though he did want to attend Dumstrung he had never told his parents that. He knew better than to do so. While the majority of his family had been in Gryffindor he wasn't one of those. Sorted into Slytherin he thought it was the perfect house for him. His parent's didn't care though. He was their son and they loved him- though his brother wasn't completely happy with it but they had never been all that close. While at Hogwarts he slowly entrenched himself among the leaders of the house include the Black's, Lestrange's and everyone else. This was how he met Dorea Black. He instantly hated her but at the same time he was entranced with her. She was a Black and gorgeous at that. His parent's saw what an alliance between them and the Black family could do so they arranged a marriage to her, much to both of their disgust. Marrying in 1937 they had their first and only child just over a year later. From then on the two of them grew apart. Charlus took a job as a Hit Wizard before joining Grindewald's army unknown to everyone else- he was more of a contact than a fighter. During these few years he has also had a number of affairs though none of them lasted all that long. He arrived on the ship a year later when he was 24.
