Appearance
Standing at 6'3 he is reasonably tall but that isn't all that unusual for the Malfoy family. He has blond hair that is dead straight falling down to his shoulders. With his dark eyes, beard and slight mustache he can come across as very cold and mean- which he is. As a Malfoy, he now expects to have the best that his money can buy. He worked hard for it and easily reaps the rewards of his hard work. His robes are always the best that money can buy and he isn't afraid to flaunt it either. While not slim he isn't overly fat either- more muscular than anything with the look of a person you wouldn't want to get into a physical fight with if you wanted to win or even get out of alive (not that he would ever resort to muggle violence of course). This is in everything that he focuses on- from the smallest thing to the most important things that he undertakes. He will never settle for anything else and continues to strive to show that he is the best out there- the Malfoy's were an old family but never particularly rich until he took over. This also means that he has trouble sliding into the background and letting others take control of a situation. Not only this he is rather cruel person who wants no one to stand in their way as well as wanting all of his family to bow down and do what he wants while striving to be their best. This links in to his pleasure of manipulating people into doing what he wants them to do. He has been doing this for years to the point that he is rather subtle at it- even to other Slytherin's who are used to doing that sort of thing. His only loyalty is to himself and no one else. He wouldn't even think for a minute if he has to turn on his family to save himself he is that self-ambitious.
History
Born on June 22 1925 Lucian and Iris Malfoy, Abraxas grew up yearning for something better than he had. While the Malfoy's weren't poor they weren't excessively rich either. As a child, Abraxas was determined to prove that he could be the best that he could be and quickly learned the art of blackmail and manipulation. He put this skill to good use on his parents to get him the best tutors that they could afford- after all they didn't want a lay about for a son did they? They didn't think so- they also didn't pick up on the fact it wasn't them that came up with this idea. For the three years before Abraxas attended Hogwarts he was taught the basics of maths, english and the basic magics. Abraxas had a good mind for this sort of thing and quickly came to see how this could come and help him in the future. If he could use this and manipulate people the right way, why couldn't he achieve and get the money and prestige that he wanted in life? As well as academics, the young Abraxas learnt and took to horseback riding surprisingly. While he wasn't allowed out by himself he often went for long rides in the afternoon and early evening rides with his tutors and/or parents. When it came for him to attend Hogwarts, Abraxas was not at all surprised to be sorted into Slytherin. He quickly settled into the way of life within Slytherin House and quickly proved that he was not one to mess with. Quickly forming alliances with other's in his year and above him he continued to work at his subjects to get where he wanted to go. Proving not only that he was ambitous and determined enough but also had the right mind frame about Muggleborns and the like he quickly found his niche with the Black's, Prewetts and a few others who became his closet friends- not that he would ever publically admit that. Graduation from Hogwarts with E's and O's in Transfiguration, Arithmacy, Ancient Runes, Potions and Defence Against the Dark Arts, Abraxas undertook training in the Ministry before quickly advancing to the head of the Finance department. This brought in a lot of money for him but not enough to satisfy him. This lead him to undertake a variety of financial exploits such as investing in business and Quidditch teams and things. That was what brought him in a lot of money but still he craved even more. This lead him to set up a Potions company to research new Potions, which finally brought in enough money with everything else for Abraxas to make the fortune he so desired. At the age of 25 (1950) he married Attia Montague to please his parents even if Abraxas found her very boring to talk to, look at and just generally be around. At first he just let her do her own thing but he found her often craving to be around him and demanding his attention which annoyed him. Couldn't she live her own life? Three months after they married was the first time that he physically hit her even if he had been yelling at her every since their marriage day. From that day, whenever Abraxas was stressed or just annoyed or anything he would hit her. Soon it became normal to see Attia walking around with bruises all over her body. Then he got mad because she couldn't fall pregnant. For three years the abuse stepped up as he wanted an heir- even if he didn't like her. Finally, in November or December 1953 she fell pregnant and on August 13 1954, their first and only child Lucius Abraxas was born. Over the years Abraxas raised Lucius to become the best that he could be- in everything that he attempted. Abraxas would punish him a lot if he failed to reach this standard- though it often didn't reach physical punishment it was certainly was verbal and magical (he didn't refrain from cursing his son if necessary). In 1965, Abraxas grew sick of his wife and slowly started to feed her poison that slowly killed her. A year later she was dead. When Lucius started Hogwarts he made sure that he knew he had to be sorted into Slytherin- not that he thought for a minute that he wouldn't be. He wasn't disappointed with his son's sorting. Apart from all of this, Abraxas has continued to work on his financial endevours as well as spend time with his friends and co-memebers of the Knights of Walpurgis, a group he had joined while he was at school.
